Rust & Corrosion: What You Should Know
Before installation, all rust and corrosion on the pinch weld must be removed — the adhesive requires clean metal to bond properly. If we find rust during your appointment, we'll call you before touching anything extra, explain exactly what's there, and get your go-ahead. If you choose not to proceed, a $150 glass removal fee applies (old glass out only).
We will never let a vehicle leave this shop with a windshield that isn't bonded correctly — that's a safety hazard and we don't cut corners.
