Same-appointment calibration applies if your vehicle has a forward camera and rear cross-traffic alert interfaces with the camera geometry.
After windshield replacement, the forward-facing camera that powers lane-keep assist, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise, and traffic-sign recognition has to be re-taught to factory geometry. We perform both static and dynamic calibration in-house at our Colonial Heights shop — you do not get bounced to a dealer round-trip. You receive a pre- and post-calibration diagnostic report before you drive away. Required under Virginia HB312 / SB767 in writing before any work begins.
Side mirrors (and the integrated turn-signal, blind-spot-indicator, and auto-fold components many modern vehicles pack into them) are surprisingly easy to crack in a tight parking deck. We replace both glass-only and complete-housing mirrors for most makes and models. If your mirror has a blind-spot or lane-change alert camera, we recalibrate the system at the same appointment.
